Egypt

There’s nowhere quite like Egypt. It’s one of those countries that grabs your attention and doesn’t let go—whether it’s your first time seeing the pyramids rise out of the desert or you’re floating down the Nile past temples older than most civilizations. Egypt is wild, intense, and full of contrasts: ancient and modern, chaotic and peaceful, deeply historical yet full of surprises. As the home of the only remaining Ancient Wonder of the World, it’s no wonder Egypt remains one of the most popular destinations in the world for all kinds of travelers. It doesn’t matter if you’re here for the adventure, culture, or simply to see something different… Egypt is a must-visit for any traveler!

Why read our Egypt blogs?

We spent exactly one month in Egypt, spending most of our time living in Dahab, a super cute Red Sea town that totally stole our hearts. While we made sure to see the iconic spots in Cairo, such as the Pyramids of Giza, we also slowed down and soaked up the everday side of life in Egypt. We worked remotely, snorkeled and dove (dived?) with fish in gorgeous reefs, and discovered the best places for fresh mango juice and Egyptian breakfasts.

Dahab in particular became our base. This small and unassuming town is a haven for digital nomads, divers, and travelers looking for something a bit more offbeat. It’s still very much a “hidden gem”, and we want to share it with you!

Beyond your standard destination guides & itineraries, we also want to share the real stuff: the tips we wish we knew before coming, honest takes on what to expect, and our favorite spots that made the trip so unforgettable.
