Italy
Italy is one of the most visited countries in the world – and for good reason. The country boasts stunning nature, amazing history, delicious food, and gorgeous beaches. What more could you want? Rome, Florence, Naples, Venice, the Amalfi coast… there’s really no shortage of places to visit in Italy. If you want to experience “la dolce vita,” dancing in the streets, drinking wine and Aperol Spritzes while taking in thousands of years of history, there’s no better place to do it.
Why read our Italy blogs?
Italy is Mia’s first love. She studied Italian in university and made it a point to visit Italy every year for 3 months during her summer holidays. Rome is her old stomping ground, and over time, she has spent over a year in the country.
Even recently, we traveled together to Italy and rented an apartment for three months in Florence. But as people who love to be on the move, we have visited most other parts of Italy, including Milan, Venice, Rome (of course!), Naples, parts of Puglia, and Sicily. But with that said, we have the most knowledge on Rome and Florence as we have spent the most time in these cities, getting to know the food, the culture, the surrounding towns and cities, and more.
Italy, as one of the most visited countries in the world, can be filled to the brim with “tourist traps,” so it helps to have an insider (like us!) help plan your trip to this gorgeous country.
